Feeling frustrated with my canter seat?

I have been riding for a long time, and most of the horses i have ridden were on the lazy side, as in didnt want to keep cantering or didnt want to get into it. Last summer I had a BAD instructor put me on a horse that would gallop around the ring and she didnt care how to slow her down , or how i looked, just that she got that 40 dollars for the "lesson" so i learned to pinch hard with my knees get all over the place and not slow down the horse because that is what she told me to do. I have owned my own horse for many months now and I have slowly been fixing my bad habits like pinching with my knees and keeping my heels down getting my leg to stop swinging, and my horse is a challenge. Hes sort of green and lately it seems when i canter he slowly starts going faster and faster, until we are galloping around the ring, BUT if i ride him in a 2 point at the canter he goes perfect and slow all the way around the ring, and trust me his saddle fits great so its not that. I asked a trainer at my barn what i was doing wrong she said when i was sitting my seat was asking him for more canter when i should be lighter in my seat. when i get lighter in my seat my leg starts swinging and its like i cant make everything stay in one place, and i used to look PERFECT when cantering and now i look all over the place and my friends have noticed to. The trainer at that barn doesnt have a lot of time because she works until 6 everyday, and she has her own horses. I know i can do it but how do i get all the peices together? somehow i used to do it effertlessly but now i am starting to make my horse gallop without even realizing it and im getting all over the place. And my barn is wicked busy so its hard to get a trainers free moment.

Fixing my bermuda gr lawn?

Bermuda gr is a running gr and often as the summer goes on it fills in the spaces itself with multiple runner shoots going all over the place. I always wait at least a month when my gr starts growing in the first month of summer to see what happens. Be sure to fertilize it and see what happens. Where I live we have a place called the mud hut...it's a pottery place where you can paint your own porcelain items (i.e. plates, cups, picture frames, figurines, wall art). If you could find something like that in your area, you both could go in there and sit to where you can't see each other, and design something for each other. How to wire an electric motor and switch?

I am totally new to wiring and I want to connect a switch, battery, and motor so that you flip the switch and the motor turns on. I tried it and the toggle switch has three little prongs sticking out the back for wiring so I wired up two that were sitting next to each other, leaving one on the end open. then I soldered another pair of wires on top of that to connect to the 9 volt battery, still leaving the end one untouched. I turned the switch and it worked. but the i turned the switch off, left it for a minute , then turned it back on to find that the battery was really hot and it wasn't working. what did I do wrong?

I'd do alot of trotting untill he's relaxed as... and then when you ask for the canter start rocking in your saddle sitting deep. He needs that contact with you in the saddle and just time. I'd give him a few weeks to settle and pretty much detox :) They can have some crazy things being fed and injected into them and its best to give them a chance to come down so to speak. I wouldnt be cantering him for a few weeks. Just lots of walking and trotting till he's relaxed and calm. Have him walking along and get a horse and rider to trot past him...stuff like that to teach him he doesnt always have to be in front. With a racehorse they are usually on a tight rein and when you shorten your reins it means they are about to gallop...keep all that in mind. When you do canter have him in a small yard, somewhere with not really enough room to gallop but enough to canter in big circles... have fun!

My brother had a near death experience in the early 1980 after overdosing on pills. He wanted to end his life to much pain in his life to deal with .so he tried to take the easy way out. His story when he woke up in the hospital he was excited to were he had been and started to tell the nurses and doctors to what he had seen and heard, but they believed him not. Because he just finished trying to kill him self so to the doctors thought that he was delusional. So from that day my brother never told another living soul to what he had experienced until about 10 years ago. I was talking to my brother and said I believe in near death experiences and my brother says to me I had one. What a surprise that was to me. I said what happened ,and it took him a little wail to open up to me because of what he experienced with what happened in the hospital. He told me his story and said I tried to kill my self when I worked in the mines. And for my self I new nothing about this my brother trying to take his own life. He started by saying I took a bunch of pills and wanted to end it all. When I did the next thing I remember is going into a bright light and was in front of the present of the lord Jesus Christ. He talk to me and said it was forbidden for anyone to kill them selves and that my time was not yet and that I would die when I become the age of 50 and woke up in the hospital. My brother said that I do not fear death any more. I know what is there. Sadly for my family my brother turned 50 in September 2009 and has less then 7 month to live before his next birthday . So any time now something can happen to take his life away. May brothers life changed after his experience and got marred and to day tells me that he hopes that the lord will keep him here on the earth longer so that his wife will not be alone. I told my brother that what the lord say will come about if it be the will of the lord .life is short love one another do good to them that hate you so that there hearts will change towards you that they may love you for who you are . I love my brother, God is real, he is as real as you and I are he love you God bless all.

My sister, a nurse, is off work due to a broken leg and her husband (deadbeat) quit his job just a couple of days after she got hurt and hasn't gotten a new one in the last 5 weeks. She doesn't have sick leave or temporary disability insurance. She missed this month's mortgage payment. She will probably be off work another 4-6 weeks if her leg heals okay. Then he would have to do surgery with plates and pins. She could be off work for up to 3 months more if that happens, which would put her missing almost 6 payments. I am a software engineer with Asperger's and depression that tend to interfere with people skills. I feel very strongly that their are some major issues, non political that today's society needs to address. And we are giving our kids the wrong messages here. How can I express my concerns to where others can hear it? Do i contact a magazine and ask them to write about this issue or what? What can I do? My Dodge Avenger randomly dies, please help!?

When driving down the road or even just idling, My Avenger will randomly die and not start back up. It's downtime is completely random, lasting anywhere from 5 seconds to 2 hours. It is the 2.5 V6 engine. I have noticed that the ASD relay has power to it while this occurs by using a test light. I have also used the key method to pull any codes and get a code referring to the crankshaft positioning sensor not sending a signal to the ECU, but also realise this could be from a number of reasons. My 20lbs dog pounced on a smaller dog at the dog park, what are my legal obligations toward vet bills?

Pledging, is it like this for everyone?

I am rushing a Fraternity, which will go unnamed for obvious reasons. We had Paddle Ceremony last week, and it seemed like they went a little over-the-top on the physical hazing. We had a ridiculous ammount of information to know in adverse conditions, with some questions we could not answer with the information we had avaliable to us. When one of us would screw up, all of us would have to do push-ups, or think about it's (elbow's and toes on the ground keeping the mid-section up). Since many of us screwed up a variety of these questions, we ended up doing well beyond a normal workouts worth of both. Literally to the point of not being able to physically do it anymore in many peoples cases. When I was unable to continue they yelled at me and my team until we did ten more, painfully and slowly albeit. My arms felt absolutely miserable for three straight days to the point that I needed painkillers to make it bearable. I am sure this is quite tame compared to the old days, but this just does not seem like something everyone else nowadays would be experiencing pledging. Don't get me wrong, I like the Fraternity I am pledging, and my pledge cl is nothing short of a collection of excellent young men (I am a Senior compared to the Majority who are Freshman). Still, when I become a member I'm not sure that this is the way I'd like to teach brotherhood. What are you're thoughts?

What to feed my horse?

I have a 16yo 16.3hh thoroughbred gelding who is schooled in mostly flatwork for about 40 min each day 6 days a week. I want to give him a bit more energy to be able to carry out the work efficiently but do not want him to bulk up too much. He is currently having green chaff, white chaff and pellets in the ratio 2:1:1 but i want to replace one of the green chaff with something a little more starchy perhaps. He has plenty of gr to eat too. Are there any suggestions as to an energy giving feed such as meusli or something?

I'm considering having jaw surgery and would like as much information as I can really?

I'm 17 and have had an open bite for years, it's nothing too severe, but it does affect how I look and how I eat. The only corrective option for me, is to go through surgery. Having looked over the internet I've found a multitude of mixed responses, I'd like to know as much as possible really from people that have undergone this surgery. Such as pain levels, how severe the swelling and bruising is, the outcome, the recovery length, the fluid diet etc, pretty much as much as possible so that I can make a decision on whether or not to have it done. It does make me conscious and i'd very much like it fixed, i'm just not sure whether it's worth it. Any responses would be greatly appreciated :).

I cannot download iPod Software?

Everytime a new software update for iPods comes out i cannot download and install the update. The download gets halfway then claims it has timed out. I have run network diagnostics in iTunes on my computer and it says everything is ok, but yet i still can't download the updates. To update my software i have to use other peoples computers and this is just a huge inconvenience. I have tried using my laptop and that doesn't work either. I can't restore my iPod because it wants to download software to let me do that and i can't download anything. I can download music (not from iTunes) and other things just fine, but not the software. Any help would b greatly appreciated. I have a 1st Gen iPod Touch btw.

When my sister was a teen she was in a horrific accident and enduring some serious back injuruies. Her doctor perscribed her oxy contin and she had been on them for years, she recently decided that enough was enough and enrolled in a methodone clinic. She was pulled over the other day for speeding and ended up in jail because the police officers found her medication. She said that they treated her like pure s and called her a heroin addict in front of her children. If you found out htat someone you know was on methadone what would you think? Do you think the police officer was justified?
