Fixing my bermuda gr lawn?

Bermuda gr is a running gr and often as the summer goes on it fills in the spaces itself with multiple runner shoots going all over the place. I always wait at least a month when my gr starts growing in the first month of summer to see what happens. Be sure to fertilize it and see what happens. You could get some sod like you said, but if it just came up, give it a little more time.
