Why is my rabbits stomach is moving like that?

I was watching my new rabbit and noticed a "rippling" stomach movement. I got him yesterday from the shelter and it's like a weird crawling movement under the skin. He is to be neutered tomorrow and I plan on asking the vet but thought I'd see if anyone had any thoughts. I've never had a rabbit before but have read a bit and can't find any reference to this movement.
