Will the way i want my wedding to go hurt someone's feelings and cause them to cause a scene at my wedding?

My parents divorced when i was young. I went to see my dad every other weekend before i got a job and boyfriend(who is going to be my husband) But when i got my job and him i did not go everyother weekend. but we did call and talk. things slowly stopped completely on his end. i feel like i am the child and he is the father if he wants to be one he should try to make and effort i cant do it all. And my final blow he did not come to my bro's graduation. he was camping instead. he loves to be the center of attention but i want my uncle to give me away he was at mine and my bro's graduation. We have made no contact in 2 and a half years. they dont even know about the wedding. he and his wife are very outspoken and i know they wont be happy. i am his only blood daughter. what should i do? Will they throw a fit when they find out about it? HELP Please!!!
