Should I give up on the guy i love?

Well i was dating him ust over two years, we was kinda on and off. And like a month ago we split up, but recently we've been getting really close and started sleeping together, kissing, cuddling, and he still loves me more than anything, but he doesn't want a relationship. And about a week ago he ended all the sleeping together, kissing, cuddling and stuff cause he felt wrong not been with me and doing that stuff, but then afew days later he started doing it all again. I'm kinda confused and don't know if i should give up, cause i love him more than anything. And it hurts too not have him in my life. What do you think? Thanks in advance.
