Is there any ways i can make my hair easier to straighten?

My hair is super duper wavy. it is not curly though. it flips at the bottoms and my hair is thin (not very very thin, but thin.) i have a revlon straightener ( a small one ) and it takes at least 45 minutes of straightening for it to look decent. my hair is past my shoulders and it ends in the middle of my . is there any ways i can make my hair easier to straighten without cutting it? any shampoos or products that might help? please and thanks!
