In pokemon diamond and pearl at the pokemon mansion how do you get into the rooms at the sides of the mansion?

its really bugging me because the two ladies are guarding them and i dont know how to get past them. do you have to complete your national dex or sumfin.. Ive got ten more to get and there all event only and my mate wont let me trade his and trade them back:(
