Surreal Looking places in New York City?

I love surreal looking looking places, I really do. My mind often wanders off to things like " If only there was another world" . I don't really get out much and go to places I know how to get to. Does anyone know a place in New York city that looks...awfully surreal? just like...a place that looks..."different"...a great place to take pictures of the scenery? I cant really go out of new york or anything...but any place IN new york would be great , thak you :D
