Why Indians find shortcut methods to get their work done?

Due to impatience and mean mindedness most of us always use influence or try to find shortcuts to get jobs done. Starting from school admission, ping the exams, to get a job, for promotion, for transfer, to become a minister, to get licenses done, for permissions, and even for death certificate, instead of waiting with little patience following the order of seniority , people shamelessly follow shortcut methods for quick results. Is this not bad as we are trampling the rights of other people.
