Our apartment manager is ignorant. When we first moved in we found a bug on the wall looked it up and thought it looked like bed bugs. She said that was impossible and that the old tenant was paranoid and sprayed for bed bugs every month. Whats the odds right? But she said it would be looked into. We kept getting bite marks and thought maybe flees maybe spiders and cleaned sprayed and still no effect. Now after four months. We finally find more of them tucked in our mattress. And while I feel that she is not gonna do anything about it. I want to go straight to the owner. Because we let them know as soon as we moved in and it was never looked into. I think the exterminator should be paid for by them as well as us being reimbursed for anything that we have to throw away due to the managers negligence. As the bug was found before we moved our stuff in and Im 100 percent sure we didn't have them before moving in. ( There is nothing in our lease about pests being our responsibility) When we asked before for the owners phone number. We was informed we couldnt have it that the owner preferred to stay anonymous.
